As of 2/12/25, this school year, we have used four calamity days. The next calamity day we use will be our fifth and final day off for students and staff. After that, calamity days 6-8 will be remote learning days. We are hoping for the best, but also preparing for what could happen.
Procedures for Remote Learning Days
Staff will post assignments via their learning management system (Google Classroom, Schoology, etc.) and be available by email or through video conferencing (Google Meet or Zoom).
Synchronous instruction would take place during the scheduled class time on a 2 hour delay bell schedule.
There will be one assignment for each class a student is actively enrolled in. These assignments must be turned in to the respective teacher no later than one week (5 business days) from the date classes resume.
Any student who does not submit the assignment by the designated date will be marked with a period attendance absence for each class that work was not submitted within ProgressBook GradeBook.
Teachers will grade the e-lessons in the same manner as other lessons. Students may receive an incomplete or grade of zero in each subject area where lessons are not completed on time. Failure to complete all lessons in a timely manner may also generate an unexcused absence for the student.
